This residential project in Höllviken was designed for a family of five, with a strong emphasis on functionality, aesthetic appeal, and a design that would cater to their specific needs. The client requested a home inspired by the traditional Colonial House style, characterized by white wooden exteriors and window shutters. The aim was to create a space that felt both timeless and inviting, blending classic design elements with modern comforts. The house is divided into two distinct zones. The lower floor is dedicated to public spaces, with an open-concept living room, kitchen, and dining area designed for family interaction and entertaining. The layout is fluid, allowing for natural light to flood the interiors while maintaining a sense of warmth and intimacy. The design encourages family gatherings, with easy access to the kitchen and living areas, creating a welcoming and practical environment. The upper floor is a private retreat for the family, with bedrooms, a master suite, and personal spaces for each member. This separation between public and private areas ensures both functionality and privacy, making it a perfect fit for the family’s lifestyle. This design integrates the family's vision of a comfortable, spacious home that reflects their lifestyle, providing both a sense of openness in the public spaces and tranquility in the private areas.
