The project aims to combine the sport-ing activities, relaxation and dining with the theme of the landscape - as a "urban landscape".
The strategy implemented by the project involves the re-functionalization of the Interior of the Velodrome and the connection of the same with the external environment. The velodrome is not seen as building "closed," comparable to a defined object and the content itself, but rather as an "open system" capable of amplifying its urban function and re-vitalizes the area on which it is built.
The general scheme of the project in-dividua the spatial continuity between the new park and the renewed velodrome-and then nature and architecture-a para-graph of force. The park-with green slopes and facilities for sport-enters into the Vigorelli.
The interior space-in-the proposed project has within it two spaces separate but interconnected: the arena and the new velodrome. This new configuration-space with outdoor and indoor in-sequence combines the traditional sports and urban sports like skateboarding and-wall-climbing-offering a modern holistic vi-sion of a certain type of high quality urban lifestyle.
